wickedandlazee
Tell you what he's far better than any gundog after he went through that hawthorn edge to get that second rabbit Right about the trousers though - gonna go and get him some real camo stuff today now I know he likes it. As for the night vision episode - you seemed to be very well versed in dropping your trousers in a public place at night in bushes - is there something else you get up to at night besides lamping that we should know about You do seem to be out " lamping" an awful lot lately  Seriously though it was a good night - think i was jinxed from the start - lost the IR filter on me lamp and had to retrace my steps for about 1/4 of a mile - luckily i found it!!!! Then me quick release bracket on me gun decided to give up the ghost and me rifle fell to the floor off me shoulder, knocked the sights out and also managed to lose the bolt off one of me bipod legs On a positive note that IR filter on the lamp lit up the fields for a good 100 yards like daylight, ideal for getting close to the bunnies!!! On a funny note when i got home and while I was gutting and skinning the rabbits in my conservatory the slapper next door was with some guys who were mouthing off. Anyway they heard me chopping em up and I heard one of em say - i'm gonna go and make him shut that noise up. He poked his head round the corner saw me with a bloodstained knife in me hand and a psycho grin on me face and promptly disappeared back in the house  :P Think the look on my lads face says it all, and he hocked his first rabbit - another one added to the cause
