Albert 888
Bought a disco 300tdi back in june as a project. So far-changed all the oils and filters, apart from the clutch and brakes, fitted a decat and a one box exhaust system, blanked off the egr valve, cleaned out the intercooler, fitted new gas dampers and medium duty springs+new galv turrets, fit front diff protector& front steering protector, new steering damper, fit new track rod ends and droplinks, got tracked up. But the best mod so far I have just wound the fuel pump up 1/4 of a turn :-). Next will be some proper of road tyres & a boost gauge so I can mod the waist gate. Would post a pic but I struggle with technology. Oh then do a bit of welding. Happy motoring to all landrover owners, dont let them get you down. elefantman
Discos make great trucks to play about with.. I'm on my fifth as I seem to fix em up and sell them when someone waves notes under my nose. Current one is a j plate 200tdi. 2" lift on springs/shocks. 750 my tyres on defender rims and a few guards underneath. Gets most places without fuss and owes me peanuts as the parts came from the stash and the vehicle was a welders nightmare when i got it. Watch rear arch clearance when you go to mud tyres.. Oddly my current one doesn't suffer but my old 300 required a camel cut. Edited December 22, 2013 by elefantman
