skinner Posted January 12, 2007 Report Share Posted January 12, 2007 i have 2 german shepards,i need to no is it ok to feed them the rabbits i have shot. do you cook them first or just gut and skin them,i did read somewhere that cooked rabbit bones can splinter the dogs gut. last week i looked out the window to see jet eating something so i ran down to him opened his mouth and found the hind feet of the rabbit going down his throat,we do have rabbits in the garden but they are to fast for them to catch i think he got lucky. thanks inadvance. I supply the local postmistress with a handfull of rabbits every Monday morning, she has two Alsations and has reported no problems, so far. This monday they will be getting them in the fur.
