Ben W. Posted January 25, 2014 Report Share Posted January 25, 2014 Try a variety of ammo as your gun is unique and won't necessarily like the same ammo as the next guy. Trial and error. I had a nightmare with my first l/h American, struggled to chamber rounds and had shotgun groups anything beyond 30 yds. Turned out the bore was cut tight and the screw cut for the mod was off straight, sent back to the factory and received a replacement rifle. New rifle likes Winchester, SK (very very good) and CCK. Despite it being the more expensive I stick to the most accurate ammo (SK). Spend a lot of time experimenting with various ammo until you find the match for your rifle. For practice I use black stickers which when hit produce a florescent yellow hole, great for range work as it makes it easier to see your POI. Then again my eyes aren't what they used to be.
