danfick
Hi All Strange question and I am pretty sure I know that this doesn't seem right but here goes anyway. Someone I know mentioned the other day that his father was going on a pheasant shoot. The thing is this was only a few days ago meaning it was after the season ended on February 1st. This was a beater shoot but I don't see how this changes the fact that the season is over. Mys question is; is this legal? is there some sort of law that states a beater shoot can take place after the official season end? Thanks for your advice Dan
fenboy
Feb 1st is the last day Pheasant can be legally shot , could this person been trying to impress and talking rowlocks
ColinF
Could just be crossed wires. Were they shooting pheasants, or were the beaters going pigeon or vermin shooting on the local pheasant shoot?
danfick
I think crossed wires sound more likely as I know the gent likes his pigeon shooting
