Maddaftspaniel
At what age do mallards fly? I want to rear our ducks after I have reared the pheasants which I release mid July. We don't shoot til November. How can I be sure the ducks will be flying strongly by then?
silver pigeon 3
We take our ducks mid June at day olds and they are out on the ponds about 5/6 weeks later. By mid Sept they are flying as well as the wild Mallard that end up mixing with them. We do spend a bit of time getting them up and flying when we feed so i think this helps with thier stregth and stamina.
Alycidon
Duck need to go to water no later than Mid August assuming you are not shooting till early Nov or very late Oct. A
