Kes Posted February 20, 2014 Report Share Posted February 20, 2014 I used my tucson for off roading on the shoot and it worked fine, easy selectable 4 wheel drive (electronic - switch). All depends on the tyres and in some early models, with 4wd engaged on full RH lock the thing madea rather disconcerting dull knock. but always reliable and able to get out of tractor ruts. make sure its light off road not heavy ! Kes Posted February 20, 2014 Report Share Posted February 20, 2014 Consumption is a bit variable to be honest I reckon if you work on 36 mpg you'll be about right. The later IX35 is nearer 40 but all in all I reckon the Tucson is a good car, nothing went wrong on mine in the 3 years I had it. The design is a bit like it or hate it but inside - good.
