Cled01
Hi, I'm going to shoot the Handicap at Royal Berkshire Shooting School on Friday and was just wondering how the handicap system worked? My cpsa average for English sporting from issue 55 is 65% therefore how much of a handicap will this give me? Cheers
dougall
Hi, as i understand it it is 3/4 of difference versus a theoretical par of 93. so 93-65 =28(.75)=21. sorry was never a maths teacher!! Enjoy it,there are 6 sporting stands,a 20 bird sporting compak set up by George Digweed (take more than 100 cartridges as have full use for a few of these) and a 20 bird grouse sequence with them stuffing for you.The digweed bit is brutal, and bird 'c' is a L to R at @70 yards going like a bat out of hell which had not been hit on the whole day I shot there!! It is an awesome/international standard layout, there are very very few 'gimmie birds'!!... If you hit 50 you can shoot,60 you are good over 70 impressive..........the best score so far is a 94(without handicap) which is as you will see incredible shooting!! ATB enjoy.
