CZ 452 - 2E ZKM STYLE - Free Floating or not??

Hi peeps,

Just bought a new CZ452 Style and spoke to fellow shooter (buying ammo, very helpful, i think he'd sold the rifle b4 the sales dude did even offered me a pre-shoot of his b4 i bought) who has the same rifle, antway i digress,

1. Should the barrel be free floating (16") - looking at the stock it looks like theres some moulding flax/burrs on the stock and a sheet of paper wont slide freely all the way down.

2. The chap i mentioned earlier had grouping probs and took it back to the same shop and they sand papered whatever burrs there were off - result nice tight groups - took em about ten minutes, have any other stlye or silouette owners out there had similar probs and resolution?

Gray,

1st of all who is that in your avatar

But as to your question, yes a bit of sanding of the stock is in order to get the barrel free floating.

This is a little job you can do yourself, just take enough out so you can slide a piece of paper down to the action

Cheers guys,

Kip270 - the one and only kylie

Markbivvy/all - if it is lugged is it still worth sanding down, coz its technically not free floating is it?? (please excuse my ignorance just moving up from airrifles)

next Q then is it both screws out on the trigger guard then the one half way up the stock to remove or just the one on the stock?
