la bala
My Evo 66 arrived this morning, i have been like a kid waiting for Father xmas. What can i say, the parcel was double boxed, insured and tracked, 10 out 10 for that Bob. My scope came back in perfect condition although, i think it did cause Bob a few headaches, sorry Bob its only a Hawke lol. Unwrapping everything, all looked very professionaly done, minimal wiring, all plugs and crimps good, fittings holding torch and screen good. Bob even put a screen filter on and also added an extra av out for an additional screen in the cab for observer/ shoot buddy, if i decide to fit one. I did have a bit of a problem swiching everthing on, but a phone call from Bob soon put this silly old duffer right. i went out later to rezero the scope, but struggled with the wind, so will wait for a calm day, i did find it hard to see much detail on the screen, i was getting a lot of reflected daylight, and only seeing my own mug, i dont know if the filter had anything to do with it, but hey this is a night sight. Bob did tell me the camera has a menu for all the different settings, i dont think i will be touching that just yet. It wont be a proper field test, but i will try it in the garden tonight. I hope to field test it one night next week, so watch this space. At the moment Bob i am delighted with it. For you lads that are interested i will post some pics soon.
