Mattw
HI Archibald, Having departed this fora for many months, and now seeing an S1 I thought I would login and post again. he main reason I haven't been on here is because I have been building an S2. You would also love the classic insurance, mine £63PA fully comp 3k miles... Buy it you know you want to. P.S. its nothing to do with me. Yep this insurance would be cheap too, I was quoted £109 pounds for a 1981series 3 with a 2.25 diesel unlimited milage - I have a 1987 land rover 90 now tho as its also my daily driver and do 13k miles a year so wanted a bit newer vehicle. The s1 and s2 are gorgeous cars! Before I had the 200 TDI fitted to my 90 I had a 2.5 TD engine in it, insurance was £113 a year! But when the 200 TDI got fitted it went up to £760 and also had to change insurance companies. Wouldent be without my landy! And when I drive anything else its a chore! Good look with your s2 it sounds great!
