superspark Posted April 8, 2014 Report Share Posted April 8, 2014 Hi Dave, theres no simple way round it mate. Lots of door knocking, be smartly dressed and be prepared for many rejections. Try your local pub where farmers might be drinking. If you see a field being attacked by birds try asking the farmer" if you can find out where he/she lives" would they like a hand in controlling them etc. You never know your luck. stuy Posted April 13, 2014 Report Share Posted April 13, 2014 Hi dave the best time to go knocking is when the pigeon are doing the most damage winter rape etc.. laid corn in june and when you do a good job people will recomend you and it can snowball!, and before you know it you have too much land !
