Gun Watch Posted May 4, 2014 Report Share Posted May 4, 2014 Remington 1100 cutts compensator £245 12 gauge Shotgun Private Seller Used - Average Condition kettering, Northamptonshire Semi-Automatic, Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, 27" barrels Description A solid but used 1100, recently fully serviced by gunsmiths, has been my go to hide gun, but just got a Maxus and this tough old gal needs a new home. Fully reliable on 27g loads, mostly fed 30-32g pigeon ammo and devastating from a hide. Fun on the skeet range too. Has the venerable Lyman Cutts compensator barrel, with 2 chokes, spreader & 1/4, possibly the softest recoiling 12 bore auto around. The furniture is knocked in places and the bluing thin in spots, commensurate with age, but a dependable shooter.
