Foxer
I went by the turners transport site earlier on and a little further down the road were the biggest flock of rooks i've ever seen...must have been thousands and they were all on a ploughed field doing nothing, just wondered if any other members have seen them there before? (longshot i know but...)
Suffolk shooter
Aye there's a lot of rook/crow and pigeon round that neck of the woods owing to all the pigs kept out on the fields, in fact all along the A14 corridor you'll see loads. I live 30 miles towards ipswich from Turners and it's the same up until Needham Market. Best time for mass Rook shooting is first thing in the morning and last thing in the afternoon/early evening as they flight to and from each of the Pig fields when the farmer starts feeding. BTMS
The piggeries on left just past Rougham are black with the blackies but all syndicate unfortunatley.
Wookie
There are loads the other way too... The field behind work (Cambourne) was thick with crows on friday. However, seeing as it's next to a load of house and the council offices _and_ owned by developers, I'm not sure shooting near here would be a good idea!
