reedbradshaw Posted February 6, 2007 Report Share Posted February 6, 2007 which pellet would be best ? im tyrin acupell at the mo and find them pretty good, however i bought some cheapo bulldog one s fro 3 quid and i dont feel the difference is big enough to compensate for the extra 4 quid i would be spending on acupell. what do you lot think ? whats the best for hunting powerpell? SNAKEBITE Posted February 6, 2007 Report Share Posted February 6, 2007 The best pellet to use is whatever is suited to your barrell. Try a few good quality pellets and see which ones group best. Remember if you are shooting live quarry you owe it to them to be as accurate as possible. Do a search on the forum for "pellpax" this will give you the option of trying small amounts of many types of pellets, an inexpensive way of deciding what works best. tosspot Posted February 6, 2007 Report Share Posted February 6, 2007 When i bought my FN19 (many years ago now) i was desparate for it to like H&N Field Target Trophy as i had 10,000 of em sitting in the cupboard, but i found Cossman Acupel to be better in this particular gun. Wookie Posted February 6, 2007 Report Share Posted February 6, 2007 I only use Accupell in my FN12. For some reason they just work loads better than both Superfield and H&N Field Target.
