stevethevanman
How much battery time do you get with a 17AMP battery on a 170 Striker, and what is the website for generalshootingsupplies.
weejohn
You are meant to get around 80 mins with that one , 50 with the 10 ah and 60 with the 14ah but when i put mine on to see how long it would last it went for nearly 2 hours. i dont know if they have a website but they are an ebay. I must warn you that the 17ah battery weighs 5.5kg which is bloody heavy, the guy supplies you clulite batterie packs which i think are great. THE 12V 14AH belt pack costs around £65 and he gives you a free charger.
stevethevanman
are the shoulder packs any better, and does the scope mounted lamp come with the attatchments to attatch it to your scope.
weejohn
I dont really know if they are any better but the 14ah belt pack is just 2x 7ah batteries joined with a small wiring loom so i suppose more things can go wrong with them when your out in the field. I just preferred the shoulder pack because i found the belt pack for my deben tracer dug into my hip which was really uncomfortable plus the shoulder pack leads are securely attached to the battery with screws not stupid little push on connectors that you get with the smaller batteries. conor
are the shoulder packs any better, and does the scope mounted lamp come with the attatchments to attatch it to your scope. of course the brackets come with the "scope mounted" lamp, be hard to mount it on the scope otherwise
