WeihrauchPower
I'm looking to buy a Theoben Eliminator next month and thought i would see what PigeonWatch has to say about them. I then read this http://www.reviewcentre.com/review16370.html I've never heard of these problems as described with a Theoben ( oil leaking from gas-ram, dampa bushing worn after 500 shots?)? Also what is the trigger like, and what sort of kick does it have at 30ft/lbs? I'm not sure i want to change to P.C.P. with all the charging gear needed. SNAKEBITE
Can I just say that I have never even fired one let alone owned one, but i do know of their reputation. It is one of the few rifles that has had a book written entirely about it. It is by Terry Doe and is reccomended for both owners and potential owners. Oh and it is going to kick like a ***** in a police van at 30lbs.
WeihrauchPower
I hear the recoil is different to that of a springer and is more of an instant jolt, i've shot the HW90 but that was a few years ago now. Apparently the recoil has less of an effect on the accuracy though due to the faster lock time.

Apparently the recoil has less of an effect on the accuracy though due to the faster lock time. i've had one and they have very little recoil. a little heavy as are all gas ram guns. would highly recomend. only changed it because the feo would not allow two FAC for the same reson. but if you can shoot a hw80 or 90 fine you won't have any issues at all. get one very highly recomended
WeihrauchPower
Thanks coupe312. I'm off to Australia for a year to work (and hunt), so i'ts the first thing i'm going to buy once i get there. It's purely for the rabs on a farm that my girlfriends Auntie owns and i will be following it up with something alot more powerful for a bit of deer stalking. I can't wait! Mine does a consistent 30ft lb's using 21.10 gr h&n field and target trophys and during a zeroing session yesterday i managed groups of just over an inch at 50 paces.
