dusk2dawn
Hi could someone please advise me on the differences between the.222 and the.223 calibers most sources available to me seem to be a bit wooly and not really helpful. I have been shooting .22 rimfire for many years. Thanks. Since posting this question I have learned that the difference is approx 10% power and 50yds effective range. Glad I went for a .223 which has been good on a military range out to 375yds with consistant accuracy of 6" bull using Fed V shoks. I hope this info helps those with the same question who follow...... D2D Edited June 20, 2008 by dusk2dawn
kip270
Hi mate, not a lot in it really, i am biased as i shoot a .222, but there are a few guy's here who shoot .223, as long as you put it in the right place they will both do the same job. But it you have a bit of time take a look here http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind....222+or+%5C.
