30 ft lbs in 22 is any gods amount once you go over 30 it gets harder to silence and hard on air. you would be better off with a rimfire if you want higher power.i have just bought a hw100 in 22 fac set at 26 ft lbs.its quiet and i killed a crow at 60 yds last year with my mates gun.don t get too hung up on power i was using my 12 ft lbs carbine this morning.accuracy is what you need most . have fun

I was not planning on buying one, but was just shocked when he said it had that much power! Well hopefully we are meant to be going out bunny bashing with it, so should be fun! He said he used to own rimmies, cf's etc but said once he had the kids the wife was not to keen on the guns so downsized and got a engineer friend to uptune a rapid. Also, a lot of his permission he reckons near paths etc so prefers an air rifle pellet which is less riochet prone.
