  1. Or intentional, from a terrorist point of view it would have been brilliant! Completely undermine Brown's (and thereby Government Authority) while also hopefully catching him and his cabinet on the back foot as they would be even less focused than normal, hopefully resulting in a 2nd class emergency response and more people being killed in the process. Dan
  2. Bloody hell thats amazingly quick!
  3. Lol thats could you would be able to fit a milk bottle up there, thats roughly the size of the "bullet". Crazy stuff, when I was younger I never could understand how bullets could destroy a tank, then when I saw a clip of an A10 in action and the size of the "bullet", nuf said. Dan
  4. I spent last night in the pub with my mates, one of which is a Funeral Directors son and works part time! So many funny stories!!! Dan
  5. between you lot you should have enough guns to start a mini war! If I get my SGC in quick, never know could be granted by august, all though I won't hold by breathe, 4 weeks would be mighty impressive! Either way, it would be nice to put a few more faces to names! Dan
  6. or you could live 11 miles from bisley Will pop in on the sat eve to say hello to all! Dan
  7. Well done mate! Plenty more to come. Dan
  8. You sure cranfield? I heard Mick Shephard had supplied the explosives and was using his collection of firearms to give terrorist cells the edge in the oncoming war? Well thats what the met said anyway. Dan
  9. This is one of the reasons I have not bothered with a FAC! Up until yesterday I was going to get a FAC rimmie but I have finally decided for the extra 40yds a .22lr will give me it just isn't worth the bother. Instead I will eventually trade in my lightning and get a .177 PCP, I like the look of the BSA S10 Bull Barrel. Dan
  10. cranners! I have never moved and only lived in one house since birth, so it feels like emigrating! May well see you about the Dr W, as for hooking up the net. If it aint there it won't happen. I am only there for a year and I basically rent from a woman who has turnt a huge house into flats but has kept her own personal living quarters, which is where I will be living. So its not possible really or even practical to be made live! Hopefully will find a local cafe or something. Dan
  11. As some may know I am moving up to Farnham, Surrey to start a new job. I am moving on this saturday now so have just finished packing and am renting a room with ensuite and shared Kitchen, in Farnham. Now being new to the area and quite skint is there anything to do? I will probably start running again, although even that will be exp as I am so naff with directions I will probably need a GPS Tracker! I know Bisley, is nearby too, but not holding either a FAC/SGC means rifle shooting is out of the question. Although eventually, I want to get a nice .177 PCP air rifle, so may join an air rifle club if its reasonably priced. Also, I am not sure whether my new gaff has the net! In which case obviously I won't be posting on PW at all or maybe occasionaly on the weekends (or the day if I can at work ) so just incase people think I have gone awol, I have not! Although don't worry I am sure I won't get a Kirky style campaign running So just in case and worst comes to worst! Goodbye all and thanks for a great time on PW. You lads have provided hours of entertainment, advice and even a go at the clays (LB, thanks again!) Although, hopefully as I live near Bisley I will pop along one eve when you lot are camping to say hi in person. Oh and see StuartP eat loads! Dan
  12. Daz, I think you will find the changing of an IP adress via the router is actually, internal IP's i.e. those computer's within your home network. Don't forget also, they would probably be able to MAC address filter Kirky! I was of the understanding that Kirky was only on a temp bran and could come back after X amount of time. DM I appreciate your loyalty to the lad but if he broke the rules he broke the rules, its not as if he was singled out and made an example of. Either way I am not fussed but remember once you start letting people back after being banned etc, it does weaken mods authority and also runs the risk of the whole "one rule for one, one rule for another" arguement. Dan
  13. I used to work in a Co Op EVERTRTHING goes in the bin, same with Debenhams. Most companies seem to just bin everything! Dan
  14. Do you have any owing tax? Has the change happened since april, if so could be a tax code problem. Dan
  15. I agree, except you got a bit carried anyway with the mossie bit Although, small numbers still doesn't stop them being a pest? or does it? Anything that causes an innconvience is a pest, so surely even one or two rabbits would still be a pest to someone! Dan
  16. Glad I live down south, seeing that! Its amazing considering its June and England. Dan
  17. what would I do without such quality advice from PW! Dan
  18. .20 for foxes out to 80yds .177 is only good for foxes at 60yds IMO Dan
  19. the fact my med student mates refer to motorcyclists as "donors", is more than enough to supress any motorbike riding urges Dan
  20. Ideed cranners although saying that I have been seeing loads about in Thanet! Normally when I was sitting in the office at work gazing out the window Went shooting today and actually saw a proper flock on the field (well I say saw, about 20 flew up out of a field next to me scaring the bejeebers out of me!). Loads and I mean loads of crows about though, was watching a flock of 25ish sitting 100yds from me today! Dan
  21. I would buy a brand new Fiesta ST and if not a Seat Cupra FR 1.8l 20v!
  22. I was shooting today and chatting to one of the farmer's who made the comment about less pigeons about this year. Which got me wondering, how would people feel about the exctinction of pigeons and rabbits? Obviously from a farmer's standpoint, it would be a good thing. From our standpoint, clearly not good. I just wondered how people feel about hunting a species into exctinction like we did with Wolves in Scotland? Would you continue to partcipate in hunting pigeons/rabbits/foxes should they be thin on the ground? Afterall a pest species is a pest species regardless of numbers, but do we have the right to destroy them? Obviously this is all hypethitical and DEFRA would never allow such a situation to arise but I just wondered how people felt about potentially hunting a pest species into extinction. Dan
  23. surely if he is in the same village, you will meet him in the pub? If not its a good excuse to spend 7 nights on the trot in the pub
  24. LL what regiment were you in and as the others said please do tell more! Dan
