ziplex
If it don't rain it pours......my eldest Springer is still lame and it's getting close to referral time and spinal surgery, (or not as the risks are high), unless the current course of anti-biotics work, and now the middle aged one decides to get a bout of dioreah that just won't clear. She has had the usual diet changes and medicine, (a huge syringe type affair, filled with a gloopy tar like substance that is administered to the back of the throat), alas neither has worked and after a further visit to the vets toninght, she is booked in for a scan,x-ray and scope for tomorrow. I took stool samples up late last week but when the results are back from these later this week it will reveal only any bacteria that is present, not any blockages etc. Anyone had similar problems to the latter?, when she goes to the toilet at the moment, it is basically completely liquid and she is slow to walk after a few minutes out. Obviously it's getting her down a bit and her heads dropped as a result, being generally lethargic and quiet, she is happy to eat her food though but tends to refuse any biscuits or bread that she ordinarily gets as a treat. Not overly worried about the vet's 'bill' as it will be done through insurance, was wondering if anybody had similar prob's and what the cause was, just a little concerned that's all
