  1. m8 if you want to get real cheap clays go to a clay shooting ground and you can get the unbroken clays which have been fired by them for tupence. they should be all un damaged and due to them being sturdy fire fine!! many people still by the clays new whihc is usually for 50% more than the used clays!! a good investment as twice the number of clays for half the price how ever more cartridges will therefore be used probs. annoying every one within a square mile around where you are shooting!! hope you can find the clays!

  9. "Field dressing also eliminates dragging unnecessary weight when moving the animal." in britain with modern rules you have to gralluc the deer in a non contaminated area i.e. a game larder. although these rules can be easily broken with no consequences!

  11. try putting the decoys in pairs and spread them out abit with the magnet in the middle. do it on an old game crop were you all ready no were the pigeons are going. try and face into the wind so the pigeons go over you and can be shot as they and instead of you facing away from the wind so you have the pigeons landing to you!!

  16. pluck the brests then with a sharpe knife cut along both sides of the backbone and scrape of the meat with the knife underneath down to the wing and leg. a good way of cooking them is flash fry them then put them in an oven with honey and ginger sauce. Killer69

  18. collies are good dogs. my mate has one that he trained himself it is a bitch and very clever. they ar good at picking up blood trails in my opinion they are better than springers but labs top them.

  20. a good plant for the pheasents is wild privit.. it provides cover and draws pheasents in from all around. it is a good place for the pheasents to be on driven days and the bush is not to thick so the pheasents can escape easily with put being eaten by foxes or picked out of the bushes by dogs, this happens if the bush it to thick. highly recomended although i do not know what the price of the items are! 22. if you go back to basics, but use hand signals as well as the wistle so she is looking at you for commands aswell as working to the wistle. this should help, as this is what i did with my lab as she used to charge straight passed me when i called now i just raise my hand sharply she stops (usually sits aswell!) hope this is as successfull as it was with my dog. good luck!!
  23. i have a 1year old labrador bitch. i was wondering if there were any recomendations for a place for her to go and be trained? she is godd and knows the basics, she can sit, lye down she can fetch a pigeon and she can walk at heel most of the time!! she would only need a short amount of time there so she can get the basics drilled into her head. any recomendations??
  24. the dogs do not mind the snow that much!! good to get them out and the spanie looks to be having a ball. well done. conditions dont stop us!
