LeadWasp
Can't help with Gloucestershire but +1 for Feds. If you ever get near West Sussex my local does them (near Petworth). PM if you want details.
Redgum
Thanks mate but just to far away really, I must have the only ammo fussy hmr around, it will shoot most at around an inch but feds were hole on hole.
LeadWasp
No worries - sometimes it helps to know that you can at least get something somewhere!! The Fed's were suggested by my RFD when I bought the gun (66J), so I took 100 and shooting it was bliss from the moment I'd got it zeroed. I went back for another 500 and didn't even try anything else. It is my corvid evaporator! Amazes me though that I keep finding all these intact little black tips - the bullet is just swarf but the tips survive almost undamaged! I guess you already like them in which case you probably know this already but I find for a broadside shot into the hydraulics at under 100yds foxes drop like sacks of spuds. good luck and cheers Edited August 21, 2014 by LeadWasp
