Cookie69
had a couple of hours on some self set rape stubble yesterday. not many about, but was itching to get out because i missed the main stubble due to being on holiday. i had 10. opened up the crops on 3 and all had rape seed, barley & wheat inside this is maybe why im finding it hard to find concentations of birds? they are flitting from feild to field mopping up? nothing specificly on the menu?? on a positive i got my young cocker out of the van at the end and sent him for a bird that landed in some long grass near to a hedge row. he did a very good job im proud of him (-: Paul
Maddaftspaniel
There are loads of stubble fields up here at the moment and it is difficult to find birds concentrating on any of them
