NickB65
Well I was up early and in the field by 8am and there were pigeons in them there fields..... well there were when I got there but they soon flew off. I set-up under the pylon with the wind to my back and after an hour I had bagged three but boy was it slow. Then the farmer aka brother in-law phones and says he has 200 straw bales for me to build hides with. Two hides for the big fields and one for the little field. Well what could a man say... I packed up and helped load up the trailer and off we went. Never built a bale hide before so made some kind of fort with gaps in so the wind could keep it dry and I could see out. Tried to make it versatile so I could shoot in any direction but we shall see. So now I have five bale hides to shoot from...... is it much different from shooting from net hides? any advice, hide designs or help welcome.
