Jimjim Posted February 20, 2007 Report Share Posted February 20, 2007 Heya all, Normally i would use remington blastic tips or the federal blastic tips but i bougth a box of CCI hollow points but i have found it difficult to close the bolt on my CZ with the CCI rounds. njc110381 Posted February 21, 2007 Report Share Posted February 21, 2007 There's a small metal part in the top of the magazine that sends the bullet into the chamber at the right angle. If it's at the wrong angle the bullet will catch on the chamber entrance. The polymer tipped rounds are more pointed, so as the hollow point is more blunt it must just be catching the side on the way in. I'll try to find the pictures for you, but from what I remember you just need to bend the metal plate on top of the mag spring up or down a bit to raise or lower the tip of the bullet in the mag so it sends it into the centre of the chamber.
