happy.plinker
There's a good write up in Februarys 'Sporting Gun' on Rob,as has been said geese are wild and sometimes they will not come to your decoys no matter what you try,I watch geese a lot from my house and they'll land in one part of a field at say 7am and leave at 12 for 4 days in a row, then I'll go down for 6.30 and guess what! very rarely will you always win over mother nature.I would say Rob and his guides get it right 9 out of 10 times and put in a lot of work to achieve this. RossEM it does seem like there's more guides each year but they come and go,at the moment there seems to be enough Grey's for them all and the way they breed it seems like they're here for a while yet. ian g
Well said mate people seem to think Shooting geese in Orkney is easy this isn't the case as you know a lot off effort and hard work goes into it
RossEM
I heard one of the Orkney guides has had some trouble over Christmas, apparently he had his truck smashed up?
