mry716
Because the metal has not been hardened quite correctly or the chemical composition is not quite correct the edges of the trips round off and need to be recut. Pop it in to a Gunsmith - not a Gunshop - and ask them to re-time the ejectors. M

dweeb
Is it a big job?
mry716
It isnt a big job. It may mean taking the gun to pieces and reassembling 3-4 times to get it right but in between its only a swipe with a file and a quick hone to remove the file marks. £25-30?
