Suffolkngood
I travel quite a bit with my job and over the last few weeks have noticed large numbers of pigeons and corvids feeding on OSR, Pasture and this week drillings. One area I've visited several days including weekends and have never seen anyone shooting at them. Just flags and bangers in the fields. If you're not familiar with an area, what's the best way of finding who owns the land........is it Land Register or another source?
decoy1979
Look for the nearest farm and go knock the door, odds are if they don't own or farm that particular field they'll be able to tell you who does.
Suffolkngood
I've knocked on a few farm doors lately only to find out they're now privately owned by non farmers
decoy1979
Do you mean farmhouse doors? In my experience if you stick to farms complete with barns, tractors, implements etc then you'll find someone that will point you in the right direction. Failing that you could try enquiring in any local village pubs, open access to lots of people passing through the door?
