nige123
Does anyone know if it's possible to convert a Wildcat Predator 8 in 22.250 to a .243 ? By changing the internal sections , I've ended up with something that's obviously not big enough :-(
EMcC
You can buy units of different calibres and threads but why not Just run a drill through it, the small amount in difference between a .22 mod and a .243 mod is very little. Have you tried dropping a .243 bullet (not cartridge) through it to see if it will go without drilling or changing. I asked for a moderator for my .222 and was given one that can be used up to 6.5 !! walt1980
I was told some are proofed for specific calibres but will fit lots more bigger and smaller. A mate had a Hardy mod proofed for 22-250 but it's the same dimensions upto 6.5! As above says, try it! Or just use verniers on the internals!
