Guest Mr Pieman
A while ago I bought some long nets that were made by Tiercel. They weren't the cheapest I could have bought but I have to say they have been outstanding in their 'capture rate'. I have used them alongside my dad's 'off the shelf' ones and his, in comparison, often allow the rabbits to wriggle out and escape, seeming to run along the net. Mine have lots of 'bag' (the extra netting i.e. 100yrd net is 150yrd+ of netting to allow good capture) and I've yet to loose a rabbit from them. The nets are well made, well stitched and the end irons are just the right length, too long or too short can be a real pain! Anyone considering buying some longnets wouldn't go far wrong by dropping a PM to Tiercel to discuss their requirements and prices. Best arranged nets I've come across for some time.
