Every year Sappers of all ranks,ages,male and female get together in a field for the weekend and have a laugh and a few drinks,it is a great time to meet old friends and make new ones,so if you are a Sapper or know one let them know please. This is a non profit making venture ,all the money gets put back in for the next Sapperfest, the organisers and committee give their time for free.there was approx 500 Sappers last year and it grows bigger and bigger every year. welsh1 Posted July 10, 2015 Author Report Share Posted July 10, 2015 Just a reminder in case you forgot,as mentioned on Chris Evans show the sapper fest is on this weekend, over 600 Sappers in a field with alcohol,what could go wrong get down and meet old comrades.gates open at 12:00.
