rjimmer
Following one of my rants, someone who reads these threads has contacted me from Australia regarding his Great Grandfather who once served in the Dorset Yeomanry(Queen's Own). I gave him this link http://www.keepmilitarymuseum.org It might be of interest to others.

rjimmer
my g grand father came out to new zealand in about 1866 and still a small family down here We've got some relations out there somewhere originally named Woonton. My grandmothers brother went out there between the wars but there were some Woontons there a long time before that.
