Springer222
I've got a Sako 75 Varmint, it shoots half inch groups at 100 yds with Federal 50gn Soft Points. The trigger is as sweet as a nut, no harshness or creep. Give me a call and I'll let you try it for yourself.
Peter_HMR
CZ Just as good as the others and costs way less
mry716
Whatever rifle you choose do select a 'mini' action such as the CZ or Sako. They are so much more pleasant to use having an action size proportionate to the cartridge. Also Please select your ammunition (or reloading components) carefully. Most 22cf bullets are for 'Varmints' ie Pest Control and 'explode' on thin skinned quarry admirably. For deer you must use a bullet made for the purpose - a hunting bullet - ie one that expands progressively.
