reloading .223

i am just getting into making my own ammo,problem is which powder to choose i have CZ American i think

its a 1.12twist.my mate does a lot of target shooting and he only uses vihtavuori n140,will this powder suit a lighter bullet,or is there better powder out there,your veiws will be appreciated.

i will be useing 50 55grain v-max bullets.

I find that with mid-weight bullets (55gr V-MAX) 25.3gr H335 works well in Lapua brass with CCI 400 primers. I had been getting sub-0.5" groups at 100m. Recently I have been using heavier 75gr A-MAX, which will be too heavy to stabilize in your rifle my twist is 1-8"). Here Varget works better!

 

I have heard good things about Vit140. Also about H322 and BL-C(2), but not yet tried them.

thanks for the links i have just orderd my press.

4 hole turret auto feed press

set of 4 collet dies

lee perfect measure

powder scale

chamfer tool

primer hole cleaner.

143.24 seems cheap as chips i hope its easy to set up.

is there anything else i would need to add to this.

I think it should be called an etic hammer. the 'Kin is the frustration added to the front as in: -
