propercartridges
you people have to tell me what you want now the talking point is what do you consider to be best the shot is tower dropped and round I can put nickel or copper in but that works out with the vat about 22 pounds a thousand on 32 gram now when I try hard shot I was at birstall near malton shooting partridges you could see the bird was hit but used to glide of and was found later the shot was going through the bird that though was 5 % antimony maybe go with 2 or 3% but anyway what in your opinion is the best to buy thanks george
Guest cookoff013
George that's more to do with speed than anything else. 3% -2% antimony 32g loads were a staple for 50 years at 1200fps. 1300fps is more than enough for a bird shell in the UK. The patterns at these speeds are sweeties and not uncomfortable to shoot a good 200 shells. In #5 32g 1300fps fibre has been a staple forever. Most people don't care what is in the shell. Most are a fad. In that combo its cheap. Or should be cheap.
