Guest
Not sure if this is in the right section (airgunners maybe?) so Mods feel free to move it if you wish. Right, i am currently loaning my Girlfriend's dad's air rifle, as mentioned in title it's an old BSA meteor - in fact it's at least 39 years old - the stock is in good condition, but could do with re-finishing, and none of the metal is bent, just looking tired and slightly rusty. So, i was thinking about restoring it for him as a late birthday present - he doesn't use it as he has a .22 rifle, but I'm sure it holds some fond memories for him. So does anyone have any advice on the best way to go about it, and what, if any parts are available to replace? I will follow the guide already posted for the stock restoration, so I just need some hep with the other bits really. Any advice or recommendations greatly received, Sam
