Andy135
I'm lucky enough to have been invited for the evening flight this Sunday as a guest of a good friend of mine who is a member the of Gloucestershire Wildfowlers. This will be my third outing in as many years but the first outing this season. Has anyone flighted the Severn recently? How was it?
silver pigeon 3
Season started ok with a few resident birds around. October for me was like hitting my head against a brick wall! Didn't even manage a shot out there all month. But things have improved this month with more duck on the river. Where are you heading too? As the birds seem quite localised. Andy135
Just back in. We were at Rodley. A fair few snipe got up, plus two teal from one of the splashes. Nothing in the bag though. We also saw a few mallard but way out of range. Still, it was great to be out. It was my young springer's first trip to the marsh and she loved it, and even managed to keep still for most of the flight.
