treetree
Hi all, I've limited experience of shooting clays, and would like to start shooting regularly. Can anyone recommend a clay ground / shoot close to Penzance. I've looked on the internet so have an idea, but would welcome personal recommendations as to where would be welcoming / the best bet for a beginner. Many thanks
brett1985
morning treetree, plenty of clubs reasonably local, although none in Penzance that I'm aware of. what do you want to shoot? or are you wanting to try a bit of everything? treetree
Hi Brett, Probably most interested in sporting, but up for trying anything. I'm probably going to book a lesson in the next week or so, and would then like to be able to start going regularly. Do you shoot at ant of these clubs yourself? Thanks for your help
brett1985
Evening fella! Plenty of sporting shoots about. The next one i know of is imerys which is a 60 bird sporting. Thats on saturday. On sunday you have fourlanes (underneath the mast, behind carn brea) and thats a 60 bird as well. Both are £18. I doubt i'll be making it this weekend though as im out in newquay saturday night. There is trap and skeet on at allet (near shortlanesend) on saturday too. P.m. me your number and i'll text you a list of all the dates. treetree
Thanks for the offer Ed5hed. I've literally this week packed in the old sxs that I couldn't get on with and I've opted to give pump a go! Might get a bit more experience with that first before heading to a clay shoot. Once I'm a bit more confident with it I'll definitely be up for it, so long as you or four lanes don't mind pump actions. Thanks again
