lee1972
Had a call from the landowner Friday saying pigeons were causing problems on the rape so myself and shooting partner set off sat morning about 7.00am arriving at 8.30am, we watched some pigeons about 150 in trees and flying about but we had a look on other perms we have about half a mile away and seen about 200 down so we set up and shot until 10.30, birds did not come back so we changed back to original location to show willing. Having set up about 11.00am we shot till 4.00pm with 27 picked but shot over 30, here comes my confession I shot about 75 shells to be honest iv been shooting over 25 years and have never shot this bad, should of had at least 50 birds myself anyway we had a very good day and decided to have a go again this morning, we arrived there at about 11.30 am about 100 birds about set up again and only shot 1 it was really quite with nothing moving so we decided to pack up and come home but at least we are keeping the landowners happy
