From a farmers point of view in the south, rape is well ahead of normal, winter corn looks poor unless it is on heavy soil that holds moisture, spring peas and beans are even worse and I have heard about a fair bit being resown. A few days rain will see things improve but I this years yeilds look down already. Soon there will be a fair bit of corn/maize going in, they have about finished in the south west but would be nice for a bit of rain further east to help crop establishment.
