Well if she has lived by herself since she was a kit it may be tricky, obviously if u get a hob u will have to get him castrated otherwise u will have babies on ure hands, another jill the same age would fit the bill perfectly but i dare say a 1 year old or older would fit in aswell, a kit may get on her nerves.

 

At the rescue society i belong to we usually get the owner to bring the ferret to us and then mingle it with likely partners and see if they are ok with each other, thats the best way. Thats in cambridge by the way, recued and rehomed 325 ferrets last year alone.
