junglebert
I need a cheap quad, for towing a trailer, and general shifting stuff around. It's not heavy loads and it's not every day, I have been using the John Deere lawn tractor we have, but the ground is often too wet or rough for it. What do people recommend? Ideally less than a grand, either used, or a cheap one new.
TONY R
We have an old yamaha big bear 350 its early 1990s at a guess, a quad like that that would do what you want ok, and you will get one and have some change out of your budget. Honda atvs are great but tend to be a little more expensive thasn the yamahas the suzuki king quads look ok but when i have seen them at auctions the typical ATV buyers seem to avoid them, or thats how it looks to me i dont know why this is as suzuki motorcycles are fantastic. You are better off sticking with japanese if you can.
junglebert
Thanks Tony, I had thought an older Japanese model might be better than a newer cheapo.
Cockerman59
I know it's a bit more than you want to pay but I have a nice Honda 300 4 x 4 for sale, can supply pictures etc, in East Yorkshire, £1200
