I started by putting Jas to bed, staying near his bed, then moving further away, giving him the command BED when he moved out. However, the crate was the best thing that anyone suggested, put them in when you go to bed and leave them. If he starts to cry now, all I do is come down, let him out to go and "get busy" then put him right back in. Think it took us about 5 days before he went thru the night.
