TONY R
I use Vitavouri more and more these days with A steel vertualy dissapearing off the scene, 3N38 is a good powder for steel in the 12 and 10. I could manage With exclusively Vitavouri Powders if supply dictated it, but i am ever on the look out for other options. Just got some ADI ap100N yesterday loaded some in ten steel trying them tomorrow.
hatsanmad
Any idea of pressures for 3-3.5inch loads in 12 gauge 36-42gram? If possable please?
TONY R
I can PM you some pressures i tested if you need them. To try and explain roughly how 3N38 behaves regarding pressurew with steel, it is rather like a very forgiving Blue Dot in nature,Rather than the more progressive in Nature A Steel. The burn rate charts dont place 3N38 where it should rightfully be with steel shot as i see it. It is goiod very good, and i like it more and more with use. TONY R
N105 is good as is 3N37 And N350 but as with anyting its what you are loading and want to do. I Like fast loads, but they have to pattern awesome, that is a hard line to walk, and getting the pressures just right can be a big help.
