I cant beleive how good pigeon is to eat. everyone who i have given it to has turned their noses up, untill they eat it then they cant get enough. So im looking for as many recipies as poss. Am i on my own here or do most people enjoy the spoils of their shoot. I think that as long as we do, then the mistaken,ignorant and townie antis havent got a leg to stand on!!! tim Posted February 23, 2002 Report Share Posted February 23, 2002 go to sainsburys and get one of their red wine cooking sauces then get as many breasts as you want (i use 10-12) roll in seasoned flour then fry off in butter, add the breasts to the sauce , its best in a slow cooker but a casserole dish in the oven is ok , chop up challots , carrots, potatos and mushrooms and cook for atleast 8 hours on a low heat , towards the end get some propper black puddings cut into chunks and add to the rest .eat what you want then let the rest go cold and reheat the next day it tastes even better burp i just had yesterdays tonight Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
