pigeonblasterian
Monday morning saw myself and Stuart back at the rabbits again. This field has had a lot of damage caused by the rabbits so we have been having a good go at clearing them as it makes a change from pigeon shooting. It was a frosty start and we netted up what holes we could to start off with.We got four rabbits out of the first bit of hedge we ferreted and one had to be dug right on the edge of a farm track. It was very hard digging but only about three feet and i was sweating watching Stuart dig and he was rather warm as well. We ferreted a few more with the nets then used the shotguns to do a few holes. We ended up with 17 rabbits and 13 were caught in the nets.We shot 4 rabbits bolting them to the shotguns one which was too bad to keep so was left for fox food and not in the photo.
