highdowns hunter
Deavin Dont give up it can take years to get some good land the best thing to do is keep asking and try and join local clubs this way you might get lucky and get an invite Otherwise you will have to dig deep and pay for shooting good luck HH
Browning
Deavin, I was new to my area last year, the thing that worked for me was to find out local shoot syndicates and offer to go beating for them. Most small syndicates would like regular beaters, especially if you can do the mid-week shoots. I've just finished my first season beating where I now live, and have permission on two farms totalling 2000 acres. Just by turning up and getting to know the people. Another thing that I've learned is that most farms have plenty of requests from people that want to shoot on a Saturday. If you can offer to go mid-week, or even when the farmer calls you when the birds are hitting his crops, it may help. Good luck......persevere.
