brooke
went out after work on wednesday.went to the farm to shoot a few rabbits that the farmer was complaining about. walked around and over the evening shot around 50,most milky does. at daylight we got into the van, drove back home, picked up the decoys and shotguns. we then drove to another farm and set up for the pigeons,a cracking day over a grass field but we missed quite a few easy birds, although i did get 2 with one shot and a left and right. ended the day with 37 picked up and a few missing. for those thinking the daft ******* with no sleep, well we did manage a few hours in the van with the rabbits. a good day all round but i wont be doing it for a while now........cos im well ant truly shattered. pin
Sounds to me like a perfect day Good work on the rabbits, hard work this time of year with all the young and every time you paunch one its milky or carrying (mind the ferts don't half like the babies). So then you went on the pigeon? That's like shooting pornography 30odd over nothing they liked is some going, you musn't have missed many that did come into range?
