Café opens at 9:15 for brews and bacon barms etc.

Special Game Stew (sold out last year).

 

We prefer Fibre wads but plastic is OK.

Cartridges available for purchase.

 

Shooting commences at 10am.

Last entries 1:30pm

I think this is a day not to be missed.

Apart from the clay shoot, there is a Lancashire Field Sports raffle with plenty of prizes of Pheasant , grouse, duck and pigeon shooting days. Plus several other prizes of Bottles, and various other desirable sporting items.

So it could be an excellent Christmas .

The weather was kind to us and the shoot was very well attended.

The bacon butties and Game Stew went down well, although I think that we made a bit too much game stew.

I had it for lunch yesterday and it's looking favourite for today also.

 

Next shoot is Sunday 8th. January

 

May I on behalf of the directors of Rixton & Astley Shooting Club, thank our members, and the members of Pigeon Watch; Lancashire Field Sports, Mersey Gun Club and Rob Simm Memorial Shoot who have supported the club during 2016.

The club has made a lot of progress; the project continues.
